Job Description
- Must know weighing chemical for correct rubber calculation
- Must capable and know how to grind rubbers and / or shreds rubber
- Responsible for joining rubbers together to make it round and into a wheel/s.
- Must be responsible and know how to spray silicone on the rubber made by the tire department.
- Repair punctured tires and replace worn-out tires; pin the two joints so that the rubber will not separate while heating/cooking.
- Inspect and assess tires for damage, reject, wear and tear.
- Work on the production assembly line.
- Understanding of the mechanics of the product
- Attention to detail to build correctly and to pick-up any faults
- Physically demanding job as some lifting is required
- Be aware of Health and Safety standards; along with a high understanding of Dignity and Diversity in the workplace.
- Good personal hygiene and a tidy and appropriate dress sense uniform will be provided that you will be required to wear.
- Punctuality and reliability are very important
- Keen to work, methodological work practice, organized, reliable and motivated.
- Good personal skills and physical fitness is required as this job will require some manual lifting
- This role will involve repetitive work with people from a range of cultural and social backgrounds and to recognize that their values, practices and customs may be different from your own.
- Honest, reliable, trustworthy. Must also be organized, flexible and resilient with a sense of humor.
- Ability to work alone and unsupervised.
- Willingness to undertake training and seminar to increase or update skills.
