The company began in 1968 as Polyfoam Chemical Corporation, founded by Robert G. Cheng and Natividad Y. Cheng. The business started under a santol tree, driven by the vision of providing high-quality yet affordable mattresses for every Filipino.
Today, Uratex has grown into the RGC/Uratex Group of Companies, operating 25 factories and 18 showrooms across the Philippines.
