Job Description

We are hiring a Bookkeeper who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and well-versed in Philippine tax regulations. The ideal candidate must have advanced knowledge in QuickBooks, a deep understanding of BIR rulings and filings, and strong skills in Microsoft Excel. You will be responsible for managing our day-to-day financial records, ensuring compliance with all government requirements, and maintaining accurate and up-to-date books.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle full bookkeeping process including recording of transactions, reconciliation, and report generation
  • Use QuickBooks efficiently for encoding and generating financial reports
  • Prepare and file all required BIR submissions (e.g., 2550M/Q, 1601-EQ, 1701/1702, 2307, etc.)
  • Ensure compliance with the latest BIR rulings and regulations
  • Maintain and update books of accounts and other accounting records
  • Process accounts receivable and payable
  • Assist in payroll-related reports and government contributions (SSS, Pag-IBIG, PhilHealth)
  • Generate financial reports such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
  • Maintain organized records and documentation for audit purposes
  • Coordinate with accountants, auditors, and government agencies when needed

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accounting-related course (e.g., BS Accountancy, Accounting Technology)
  • Advanced knowledge in QuickBooks
  • In-depth understanding of BIR rulings and Philippine tax compliance
  • At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in bookkeeping
  • Strong knowledge of bookkeeping process and accounting principles
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, especially Excel
  • Highly organizeddetail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks
  • Trustworthy and capable of handling confidential financial data
