Job Description
– Taga kumpuni ng mga sirang gamit o taga-gawa / tagabuo ng gamit
– Inspect buildings and facilities for needed services and repairs
– Perform minor repairs
– Maintain doors, windows, furniture and other items
– Monitor and replace weather stripping
– Maintain building interiors and exteriors
– Build required items including specialty furniture
– Build stairs and other items
– Build other items as required
– Operate and maintain carpentry tools and equipment
– Assist with the delivery of other related services
– Physically demanding job as some lifting is required
– Be aware of Health and Safety standards; along with a high understanding of Dignity and Diversity
In the workplace
– Good personal hygiene and a tidy and appropriate dress sense uniform will be provided that you will be required to wear
– Operates and maintains lathe and milling machines.
– Reviews drawings, instructions, blueprints or samples to ensure accurate production.
– Takes precise measurements for cutting or shaping.
– Selects appropriate machines and settings for a given task.
– Plan a proper sequence of tasks to complete the assignment.
– Monitors production, adjusting feed and other settings as necessary.
– Maintains inventory of completed products.
– Checks output for quality assurance and documents or discards defects.
– Identifies need for and performs machine maintenance and minor repairs.
– Maintains a safe and clean workstation.
– Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
