Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the daily delivery activities of the distribution team
• Oversee the loading and unloading of delivery vehicles to optimize efficiency
• Monitor driver performance and provide coaching and feedback to ensure high standards of service
• Liaise with customers to address any delivery-related inquiries or concerns
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the delivery operation
• Provide support and leadership to the delivery team to foster a positive and productive work environment

What we’re looking for

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar delivery ledership role, preferably within the manufacturing, transport, or logistics industry
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to coordinate multiple deliveries and handle tight deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with customers and lead a team
• Proven ability to problem-solve and make decisions quickly to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods
• Familiarity with relevant health, safety, and transport regulations
• A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
