Job Description
Laboratory Technician / Field Technician
QUALIFICATIONS
- 19 – 40 years of age
- At least Civil Engineering Technology graduate or graduate of any course
- At least 1 year work experience in a batching plant as Laboratory of Field Technician (for non-graduate of any course, 1 year working experience as Laboratory/Field Technician is a requirement or 3 months on-the-job training is a must)
- Must be a model of honesty, professional integrity, and must inspire the trust and confidence of clients, colleagues, management, and staff
SPECIFIC AUTHORITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION
- Conducts test methods for fresh concrete at designated job site using proper standard method
- Casts concrete samples of fresh concrete as required by the client of job site designated to them
- Ensures castings of samples are done in the proper methodology of casting concrete samples
- Ensures that the casted samples are properly tagged and kept in a safe and disturbance free environment
- Monitors and maintains quality of concrete at job site, and relay important information to team leader and lead technician concerning quality and site pouring progress
- Ensures that all related documentations generated at site be properly filled up& submitted to the team leader
- Ensures cleanliness and maintenance of mold and tools used
- Performs additional work delegations from Quality Control Head
