What you’ll be doing

• Identify and source the most suitable suppliers for a wide range of materials, components, and services required by our manufacturing operations
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure the best possible terms, including pricing, delivery, and quality
• Monitor and manage the procurement process, ensuring timely delivery of materials and components to meet production schedules
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as production, logistics, and finance teams, to understand and anticipate procurement needs
• Maintain detailed records and reporting on procurement activities, costs, and supplier performance
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve procurement processes and strategies to drive cost savings and operational efficiency

What we’re looking for

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Buyer or Procurement Specialist in the manufacturing industry
• Strong understanding of supply chain management, inventory control, and procurement best practices
• Excellent negotiation and contract management skills
• Proficient in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to use procurement-related software and systems
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field
