Job Description
– Turnero / Tungkulin na alamin ang bahagi ng makina na hindi gumagana / sira.
– Taga kumpuni ng bahagi o parte ng makina na hindi gumagana ng maayos o kaya naman ay palitan ito
– Reads and understands the specifications or blueprints for the work to be done and plans the steps to be taken to complete the task.
– Uses extensive knowledge of available materials and the latest technologies to plan and select the material and tools to be used for the task.
– Shapes the material by cutting, drilling, boring, turning, milling, planning, and grinding.
– Finishes and assembles parts by hand and uses scribers, gauges, and other instruments to achieve accuracy.
– Remains up-to-date on information about new technology in materials, methods and equipment.
– Reports to the Production Manager. Works with other machinists to maintain and repair production equipment and make custom parts.
– Physically demanding job as some lifting is required
– Be aware of Health and Safety standards; along with a high understanding of Dignity and Diversity
in the workplace
– Good personal hygiene and a tidy and appropriate dress sense Uniform will be provided that you will be required to wear
– Operates and maintains lathe and milling machines.
– Reviews drawings, instructions, blueprints or samples to ensure accurate production.
– Takes precise measurements for cutting or shaping.
– Selects appropriate machine and settings for a given task.
– Plans proper sequence of tasks to complete the assignment.
– Monitors production, adjusting feed and other settings as necessary.
– Maintains inventory of completed products.
– Checks output for quality assurance and documents or discards defects.
– Identifies need for and performs machine maintenance and minor repairs.
– Maintains a safe and clean workstation.
– Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
