What you’ll be doing

1. Operate and maintain a variety of machine tools such as lathes, mills, grinders, and drill presses to fabricate, repair, and modify metal parts and components
2. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to ensure accurate and precise machining
3. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with equipment and machinery, and implement solutions to resolve problems
4. Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols and procedures

What we’re looking for

1. Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Machinist or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry
2. Proficient in the use of various machine tools, hand tools, and precision measuring instruments
3. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
5. Knowledge of safety practices and procedures in a manufacturing environment
