Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Preventive Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing scheduled maintenance inspections and tasks to ensure the proper functioning, safety, and longevity of equipment, machinery, and facilities. This role plays a critical part in minimizing downtime and improving operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment, machinery, and facility systems in accordance with established schedules
• Inspect mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems to identify potential issues before breakdowns occur
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment when necessary
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
• Coordinate with operations and production teams to schedule maintenance activities
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards
• Recommend improvements to maintenance processes and equipment reliability
• Assist in emergency repairs and breakdown response as needed

Qualifications

• Technical/vocational diploma or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, or related field
• Proven experience in preventive maintenance or similar role
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and schematics
• Basic troubleshooting and repair skills
• Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment
• Good communication and teamwork skills
